Though not directed at the UK we have a significant number of users in the UK and so have to comply with the Online Safety Act. For details see:
Self assessment for the Online Safety Act
General
I’ve done the Online Safety Act self assessment. First though not directed at the UK, we have a significant number of users in the UK. though not directed at children, children under 18 can ask us for fact checks if scared with no age verification or age limit I am also in the UK myself - not that that’s a requirement So we do have to check for online Safety Act compliance. We are not a social media company however members can’t form their own groups members don’t have timelines, everyth…
We assess this site as of very low risk to kids and our group rules have a requirement that all content must be age appropriate for kids.
This is not just about mature content. For instance it is not acceptable to post a video that encourages young children to try smoking.
Adult themes of course are okay such as discussion of the legal situation for LGBT members, and legal status of gay marriage. However, any discussions in the group have to be done in an age appropriate way.
