We will comply as best we can with the GPDR through manual removal of your content or manual anonymizing.
You can find a record of all your discussion posts and comments on your profile page.
The Flarum software has a GPDR compliant extension but it is only compatible with version 2.0 and later.
Flarum communities have the option of migrating to 2.0 which is currently beta and is likely to break many of their extensions, or complying as best they can by using manual methods. We will do as best we can via manual methods, which is easier if you haven’t done many posts or comments in the forum.
We use the Byobu extension of Flarum for private discussions. These are fully private,. in normal conditions even admins can’t see your conversations. However if one of the participants in a discussion flags a post then admins can see the conversation for the purposes of moderation for as long as it remains flagged.
You CAN delete posts yourself.
We can hard delete them if necessary if you want to be sure it’s not just hidden from view but not in the flarum database either.
We can also anonymise your posts by just changing your name in your profile page and we can remove your email address from the profile page so that even admins can’t find it.
For privacy or removal requests contact our moderation team.
