They said this was the most important election of the year in Europe and they’re right, ever since 2010 Hungary has been Diet Russia and got worse and worse by each year, constantly obstructing the EU in many affairs, especially with Ukraine, and as recently as 2022 Orban felt unbeatable.
It’s surreal to see how ALL of this will very likely come to an end through the course of a single night, Peter Magyar has a 2 3rds majority which will allow him to amend the constitution and undo much of what Orban has done from his grip on the media and international affiliations, a political reality that’s seemed eternal for 16 years is gone just like that
