LSH in the full statement from the Russian FM they said they are going to begin striking decision-makin centers & factories that create drones in Kyiv again and the other night was the start.
It’s just Russia propaganda meant for their audience and to scare people.
Their audience will feel glad that Russia is striking at these places because they are being fed by Russia that ‘Ukraine strike a high school killing children’ - when it was actually drone operators in that school making it a valid military target.
But of course Russia lie, in that strike on Kyiv 2 days ago they were hitting many civilian targets and just targets not related to military at all, apartment buildings, garages, cafes, schools, etc.
The ‘foreigners must leave Kyiv’ is partly meant to scare foreigners but also again for their own internal propaganda. Russia has been hitting Kyiv for over 4 years now. Maybe their people don’t know about it.
You will never hear them say ‘We destroyed cafes and apartments buildings in Kyiv!’ Because then their people will hate it. Instead we hear ‘We destroyed drone manufacturing factories & killed some NATO generals that were hiding in a apartment’. That’s better for the audience.
For the people of Kyiv, yes, sadly it’s more of the same.
It’s very upsetting that the people or Kyiv are used to this now, hiding from drones and missiles everyday. Even after the huge attack 2 days ago, the next day everyone was back to work as usual.
Nothing Russia can do to the Ukrainians will break their spirit. The Russians think that by destroying their homes & cafes and museums will break their spirit but it only does the opposite.
